This desert is sick and sad, putrid and vile. It's curious silence is agony, an eerie calm that is unnatural and foreboding. It's sickness is a song, a soliloquy, a harsh whisper that violates the sanctity of your ears with a tormented tongue. It feels like death and shivers in it's clasp. Even The ugly, gaunt, savage little creatures who thrive in the callous wastes will not venture there in their desperation.
There is a presence, malicious and wicked, an intrusion that curls around your safe and satisfied logic. It suffocates you into a wild growl and summons an unknown aggression. Do not wait or wander, unless you wish to join the hungry, beaten, raped and dead.
Had to change a few words because when corrected the grammer it made the syntax funky, if you don't like it I'll correct it grammer only and you can see what's up with the syntax funkyness

So Sunday was my dad's 58th birthday. I called to wish him a happy birthday and see how he was doing. He seemed a bit down, but glad I called to wish him happy birthday. My sister called right after I did, and did the same. My brother, being a pretty self-absorbed individual, calls my dad on his birthday, asks for money, and never mentions the fact that it is my dad's birthday. I just told him to call, as he still never noticed dad's birthday had come and gone. If I didn't mind how hurt dad sounded when he told me, I would have laughed and thought, "Man, my brother's stupid". Instead I'm trying to get him to call without tipping off dad that I told him. Dad does a lot for both of us, Matthew needs to remember that.
